Emily Cerrito is a writer and producer living in Los Angeles. She grew up in Long Island where she played sports, because she wasn’t a loser. She then graduated to Syracuse University’s Newhouse School where she discovered she was a loser and declared her major in Television, Radio, and Film with a focus in screenwriting.

Post-graduation, Emily continues to write and drink beer. Her film and television scripts can be found stuffed in the far back corner of her desk drawer, and her satire writing can be found in publications like Points In Case, The Haven, and Greener Pastures. She also runs a blog on Medium that showcases personal essays and other rejects.

When she’s not writing or soliciting her friends to join her recreational kickball team, Emily studies Improv and Sketch at Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade where she laughs and yearns for more.
